UNDERGOES NAME AND LOGO CHANGE

Enfield, CT December 1, 2004...MSC Liquid Filtration Corp., manufacturer and distributor of filtration equipment, industrial pumps, and replacement filters, has changed its name to MSC FILTRATION TECHNOLOGIES, according to Michael Assimus, President. “With the change to MSC FILTRATION TECHNOLOGIES we more accurately identify our capabilities to serve both liquid and air filtration customers, whether they need off the shelf filters, industrial pumps or require custom designed filtration equipment for specific applications. This has been our business for years, but now our new name puts added emphasis on the fact that we are an across the board filtration technologies based products and services company. We think our new logo appropriately underscore this focus as well”, comments Assimus.

Founded in 1962 as Manufacturing Services Company, today MSC FILTRATION TECHNOLOGIES serves the metalworking, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, wastewater, painting & coatings and chemical industries.  Products offered include process filters, vessels and housings, filtration systems, waste minimization systems and industrial pumps.  MSC FILTRATION TECHNOLOGIES represents Parker Filtration, 3M Filtration, Gusher and Moyno Pumps, among other leading national manufacturers. Services include design, fabrication and assembly, field service and repair, system upgrades; vendor managed inventory and consignee inventory programs,  filter survey and dedicated stock programs.

The company is located at 198 Freshwater Blvd, Enfield, Connecticut.  Currently an expansion is underway of the manufacturing, assembly and warehouse space to meet new customer demands.
